Organizers design an invitation, send each guest a personal link (optionally password-protected), collect responses with plus-ones and custom questions, keep a waitlist when the event is full, decide who may see the venue address, assign tables or booths that guests see on their invitation, send automatic reminders, placement notifications and announcements, and check guests in at the door by scanning a QR pass with the namponi mobile app or a browser. Start from a template for the occasion, apply your brand colours, add a personal greeting, a countdown, the agenda, a photo gallery, your hosts, a wishlist and motion effects. Preview it as an invited guest or as a public visitor before you send.
Each invitation covers a party: the invitee, named companions with their own passes, and unnamed guests counted at the door. Import a spreadsheet, add people by hand, or let them sign up on the public page.
Show the exact venue to everyone, to invited guests, only to those who confirmed, to hand-picked guests or groups, or from a date you schedule. Everyone else sees the area. The rule holds on the invitation, calendars, emails and the app.
RSVP nudges before the deadline, event reminders at the offsets you choose, the address when it is revealed, a ready-made update when dates or the venue change, and announcements to everyone, the attending, a group or a few guests — by email, app notification or both, now or scheduled.
Every named person gets a pass with a QR code. Staff scan it with the namponi app or the web page; companions go straight in, the invitee’s pass opens the party sheet. Duplicates, no-shows and overrides are handled and logged.
Expected comes from RSVPs, checked in comes from the door — two independent numbers, never guessed from each other. Capacity, minimum attendance with auto-cancel, target progress, response funnel and show rate.
Create tables, booths, rows or areas in one go — numbered, lettered or both — and assign parties one by one, in bulk or a whole group at once. Every guest sees their place on the invitation, the hub, the ticket and in their emails; staff see it at the door. Capacity is a guide, never a blocker, and the plan stays fast at hundreds of placements.
When the event is full, a “Yes” joins the waitlist and guests are admitted automatically, first come first served, as places free up — or you admit them yourself from the Waitlist tab. Every email is tracked: delivered, opened or bounced, with a delivery-issues panel so nothing waits unnoticed.
Turn on “Save responses as leads” and every guest who says yes or maybe with an email lands in your Leads — name, email, phone and their answers as notes, source “Event RSVP”. The RSVP form asks for consent by default; a guest already in your leads is linked, never duplicated.
Let guests see who else is coming. On Business and up, guests who qualify join the directory from their invitation (or are listed automatically), choose what to share within the fields you allow, and their check-in pass doubles as a networking QR. Hosts, staff and attendees who linked their invitation to a free namponi account scan it in the app to see the shared details and save the person as a lead. Nobody is listed without opting in.
